About this Site
The materials in this Web site are presented in the interests of public awareness of the motivation of the intelligent design creationists, and the nature of their statements about biology. The current version of this site does not address the underlying theological rationale for "Intelligent Design", which is not opposed intrinsically to science and is very much distorted by the current Design creationism movement.

In certain instances, an individual's political or religious affiliations will be described. I have tried to do so accurately, and I appreciate any corrections. Most importantly, however, I do not wish to disparage these affiliations or beliefs. In every instance, these affiliations are mentioned because they seem relevant to, or help to explain the motivation of, an individual's actions, and only if the individual publically claims other motivation.

Further, it is certainly appropriate for a person or group to reject scientific explanations of the natural world, either because such explanations lack spiritual value, or for any other reason. I maintain, however, that individuals are called on always to be open, honest, and forthright in their actions. For those who are familiar with the design creationist arguments against biology, it is clear that these arguments are at best selective and at worst unconscienceably uninformed, if not deliberately deceptive.

These materials are provided as a public service. No materials at this site reflect the views of anyone other than their individual authors or the site editor. Any factual inaccuracies should be reported to the site editor, Peter Gegenheimer.
